Timesave is a local-first desktop application for automatic time and AI cost tracking. It monitors your git activity, IDE usage, and AI tool spending — then attributes everything to the right project automatically. No cloud account required. All data stays on your device.

## Core Features

- **Automatic time tracking** — Git commit watching, IDE activity detection, window/process monitoring. Auto-assigns time to projects based on active context.
- **AI cost & token tracking** — Monitors API calls and token usage from Claude, Cursor, Cline, Copilot. Per-project, per-model, per-tool breakdowns. No existing competitor does this.
- **Manual time tracking** — Start/stop timers per project. Replaces Toggl/Clockify with an AI-era alternative.
